The Plutonian Reviews Invaginies

Plutonian Press shared a stunning review of Invaginies yesterday. I don’t know what to say except that I’m really blown away.

Here’s the full review:

The Plutonian Reviews Invaginies

I’m deeply grateful to everyone who picks up a copy, and especially to anyone who takes the time to write about their experience reading the book. Even a quick line saying you loved it or hated it on a book site or social media helps get the word out.

I enjoy reading reviews and learning how others experience my fiction. I don’t expect them to all be good reviews, so don’t hold back if you have a negative response! My feelings won’t get hurt. I’m much too interested in understanding how writing functions in the mind of a reader and learning about the craft to take reviews personally. They’re just more data to work with.

When you write something, once you let it go, it becomes something entirely different in the mind of the reader. It’s really intriguing, an almost mystical process, sharing thoughts through symbols, yet never being certain how another’s mind will translate those symbols and re-make the work you’ve done into a new and different piece of art.

Poet and translator Johannes Göransson has said, “All writing is translation.” I think about that often, and I wonder if all reading is translation as well. So when I say I’m interested in your thoughts, I’m serious! It’s inspiring to see the new work of art you’ll make of my stuff.

Thank you for visiting. If you enjoy my writing, please follow. I only post when I have new work to share and news of upcoming releases or events.
