Come And Admire Him

As a special project for friends and fans, I debuted a perverse horror-erotica chapbook based on the 1981 Zulawski film Possession at Voidcon this September. Only 200 were printed, so this is a limited run.

Update: sold out

Told from the point of view of the Creature, it’s a short novelette of extreme horror. It’s also a prose poem, the sort of thing you might call “lyrical splatter” if such a genre exists. Readers so far have said:

“Dizzying, disgusting, and beautifully written”

“Holy shit, absolutely unhinged my jaw and devoured this sublime offering”

“As a child of Silent Hill, there is always a surrealist, psychosexual, emotional horror itch I’m trying to scratch. It’s so hard to find that I get used to the fakes. Then Joe Koch comes along, a writhing mass of hellfire and guts, & fluids, and reminds me what the real thing is. Phenomenal.”

Thanks so much to everyone who grabbed a copy! If you missed the chance, make sure to follow in case there’s an electronic version or reprint in the future. Maybe someday I’ll collect all my zines and oddities into one big misshapen volume, who knows?

Follow here to get links to new stories as they’re published, as well as news of upcoming book releases and events. Seriously, this is the best way not to lose touch in our ever-shifting social media landscape! I won’t spam you, and I’ll only post when I have something worthwhile to share.
