CONVULSIVE Sold Out, More On The Way!

CONVULSIVE sold out with the April 19th release of the paperback! More copies are on the way. It’s great to know the book is in demand yet sad that readers can’t get a copy for the moment, especially because many of those readers are friends. Does an author celebrate something like this? Yes and no, I guess!

I’m a little blown away by loyal readers showing up and asking for CONVULSIVE, especially because it’s only my third book and well, I have esteem issues and it comes as a surprise. I hope the people patiently waiting to read it are thrilled and delighted once they get their hands on it. I’m thrilled with the book and proud of every story in it, and delighted with how the different stories communicate with each other when presented as a whole work rather than disparate parts.

The paperback book will be widely available again soon. The ebook will likely be out this week. Possibly later today! I’ll make a big deal on social media when the ebook shows up.

Release day last week was exhausting in the best way. Friends and authors congratulated me and shared the book cover & announcement, and I had the pleasure of sharing the release date with horror poet Avra Margariti whose debut The Saint of Witches came out through Weasel Press. Once again, I’m so grateful for author friends, excited readers, and original publishers of all the stories in CONVULSIVE showing up and sharing its “book birthday.” If you’re eager to read some fiction by me, check out the listing on my home page of free online stories. Fair warning: you’ll have to scroll down a bit. The online stories are in a separate category near the end of the page which has admittedly gotten much longer than I ever expected!
