New Short Stories in August

Two anthologies will be releasing soon which include new stories from me. Here’s the links:

In Sickness And In Hell in the anthology Under A Malevolent Eye from Cursed Morsels Press; for this one, I thought about surveillance as an infection. I also wanted to write a story shaped like a hole, even if I still don’t know exactly what that means. The narrative, like the protagonist, circles itself, or perhaps its doppelganger, which is another story entirely; one I will never write.

This Is A Test in the anthology Saturday Mourning Television from Sliced Up Press; one Saturday morning in the late nineteen-sixties, a US moon landing broadcast interrupted all the regularly scheduled cartoons. (This really happened.) The story imagines an increasing upset in equilibrium beginning with an angry child.

Both books are from queer independent horror publishers. I’m thankful they’re around, and still publishing the weird stuff. Grab a copy and show them your support.

Many thanks for reading!

Follow here to get links to new stories as they’re published, as well as news of upcoming book releases and events. Seriously, this is the best way not to lose touch in our ever-shifting social media landscape! I won’t spam you, and I’ll only post when I have something worthwhile to share.
