More Weight

My second collaborative story is out now in the anthology Shredded: A Sports and Fitness Body Horror Anthology from Cursed Morsels Press.

“More Weight” takes you on a visit with the bros to the surrealist gym for a power-lifting witch trial framed around Daphne DuMaurier’s “Rebecca.” You know, simple and predictable stuff! It’s my third time writing for Cursed Morsels and my first collaboration with Michael Tichy. Mike’s first novella was just released, and I had a chance to read it while in progress. I’m delighted with the results of our collaboration on “More Weight” and hope you’ll check out the new anthology Shredded.

You’ll have to head over to Castaigne Publishing for Mike’s book Behind Every Tree, Beneath Every Rock. It’s is a slow dirge that builds gradually and explodes with a vengeance into a psychedelic environmentalist kaiju story. Unexpected, lovingly crafted, and alive with rich verdant detail. It’s a wild ride indeed and a gorgeous cover.
