Bound In Flesh

Chum Lor Gislason is editing the new anthology Bound In Flesh from Ghoulish Books and I have the great honor of sharing a new story in it. It’s called “A Scream Lights Up The Sky.” I was working with some feelings about pregnancy as a trans person while writing it. I hope it hits home for a few other folks. Lor is known for their goopy body horror, so I tried to bring my stickiest, sloppiest, fluid-soaked A game to the task of writing for them.

Here’s the exciting cover reveal at The Line Up! I think the scissors really make it for me. It’s all so pink and slimy. Check it out: https://the-line-up.com/bound-in-flesh-cover-reveal

It’s a great table of contents. I couldn’t be prouder to be among the ranks of such talented known and new trans writers. I don’t want to make a career out of my identity and I don’t think you need to be trans to enjoy my work, but it’s good to be out and open in a world where this book can happen, where trans voices can speak loudly and be heard.
